Our church was born out of the chaos and celebration following World War 2. Young soldiers returned to our local towns and communities (and all across the U.S.) and found they needed spiritual comfort after many of the horrors they saw. As they were starting new families they wanted safe, biblical sanctuaries to bring up their families with solid Biblical teaching, evangelical witness, passion for the Great Commission and compassion extended to their neighbors.

Rev. Schmidt heard these calls for help and having recently completed studies at the nearby Bible Academy in the capital city moved locally to answer God’s call on his life and the calls of so many young and old families who longed for spiritual succor.

After Pastor Schmidt’s recent retirement Reverends Leveritt and Wilson joined our team.
